Most én is hozzájárultam ehhez. Bócs! ,,Biznesz" tudod?
Működik az internetes varázslat - elég sokan látogatják meg a Budacast honlapot.

Is Hungary too easy a target? Does it only make the headlines when something goes wrong or when something happens here that fits in to the stereotype of 'backward East European country'? Probably. This week I took advantage of that by reporting on Speak the Hungarian Rapper. Click 'read more' for more.
It's all about what sells. Years after the 'fall of the Iron Curtain' the only way many journalists (freelancers like me) can sell a news story is if it accommodates preconceived notions of wonderful little countries like Hungary.
Case in point: years ago I reported on Hungary's bizarro media star Anettka on and how she'd started a media school for young people who also wanted to get naked and be on TV. These are nutty, train wreck kind of stories that are fun to do, but some Hungarians may be offended that this is the way they are portrayed. But that's the way the international news works.
Unfortunately for them but fortunately for me, I've done it again.
My radio story on Speak the Hungarian Rapper is running on this week's episode of the Canadian Broadcast Company's irreverent show about online culture, Search Engine.
Speak's video has been watched 1.5 million times on YouTube, so the story seemed like it would be right up their alley.
And for those of you who are curious about Speak, let me just tell you that he's not the tough guy we see portrayed in the video but just a salt of the earth lad from Pest who loves hip hop and works in an auto salon. I'm glad to have met him. He reminds me of people I met when I first got here in 1990: innocent and resourceful in what feels like a Hungarian way. Maybe the popularity of his video was an accident but somehow I don't think so.
Now that I know him I even kind of like his latest video, 'Hold On', which you may not of heard of. While it's not perfect, there's something hopeful about the song, Speak pays respect to his previous vid and It's got great footage of Budapest.
Yee, come on!
